I'm sorry I haven't posted much lately. I'm on the road again this month playing violin for John Berry on his Christmas tour (everyone needs to check our schedule and find a show near you!). We have a day off in Corning NY, (I'm doing laundry!!), and while walking around downtown, I passed a guy that looked like my pawpaw Jack. It really caught me off guard, and it hit me how much I miss him. I was only 13 when he died, and I didn't realize then how much of a loss his passing would be. I hope that he would be proud of my music and I really wish he could attend just one of my shows. He was sick for many years but you would never know it. He spent his last few years giving his time and resources to those in need. He never took a sick day or complained about his situation. In his short 53 years on this earth, he made an impact. This Christmas season I encourage everyone not to take loved ones for granted. Time with them is very short and precious.
P.S I should be posting a few Christmas songs very soon. Comment below with song suggestions.
